HAT CARE TIPS

As guarantors of the quality of our felts, straws and coarse grains, we want to enhance the durability of our products on a daily basis. Find here our advice to take care of your panama and felt hats.

Maintenance of the panama

Our straws come from Ecuador, the world's cradle of the panama, and are hand-woven by craftsmen, a know-how registered since 2012 to the cultural heritage of humanity by Unesco.

To avoid damaging the straw, avoid pinching your hat when placing it on your head. In case of stain, apply some "terre de sommières", let it act and rub. Regularly, pass a cotton soaked in scarlet water to clean the inner band. To keep its shape, hang it on a coat hook or a pretty hat stand. We offer a service at the workshop to reshape your hat (on request).
